Who this is for: Teams demonstrating multi-item actions.
What to prepare
- Selection states
- Scope definition
- Before-and-after rows
Copyable creative brief
An authored planning example. Replace illustrative details with your approved product facts and assets.
Plan a 30-second illustrative bulk-label demo using sample requests R-071, R-072 and R-073. Start with a supplied list showing these records and two unselected neighbors. Select the three specified rows through the actual controls. Hold the selected count and visual states before opening the verified bulk action. Apply the harmless sample label “Review batch” only if supported. Show any required confirmation and inspect the three affected rows afterward. Keep the two neighbors unchanged. If the product offers “Select all results,” distinguish that larger scope from the three-row selection and do not activate it. Use “3 selected sample requests” as the scope callout. Do not substitute deletion or another consequential action for this illustrative labeling task.
Make it your own
- Selected records
- List exact illustrative identifiers.
- Bulk action
- Use a bounded supported action and its real confirmation.
- Scope label
- Match current-page versus all-results semantics.
Prepare scope evidence
Supply the actual selection controls, count and pagination behavior. Confirm whether a header checkbox selects the current page or all results. Use the product’s wording rather than assuming a common convention.
Adapt the action
A reversible assignment or category change can replace labeling when supported, with its own permission and confirmation evidence. Keep the selected identifiers visible long enough for viewers to check the group.
Fix scope mismatch
If the count says 20 while only three rows are highlighted, resolve the hidden scope before production. If unselected rows change in the final screenshot, recapture or explain the actual rule. Do not crop away evidence of a wider action.
Review checklist
- Selected count matches the intended group.
- Pagination scope is explicit.
- Unselected neighbors remain unchanged.
