Prompt: move from a founder note to a product demonstration

Use a founder note when a genuine motivation helps explain the product's task. The note should lead quickly to evidence and must not become a fabricated quote or customer-success story.

Who this is for: Product marketers and motion producers preparing an original launch brief.

What to prepare

  • Approved founder wording or a neutral unattributed problem statement
  • The product action connected to that wording
  • Matching demonstration assets
  • Approved identity and closing status

Copyable creative brief

An authored planning example. Replace illustrative details with your approved product facts and assets.

Plan a 30-second launch introduction that starts with APPROVED_NOTE and moves into VERIFIED_ACTION. Present the note as supplied. Do not invent first-person experiences, customer feedback, personal details or results. If the wording is not approved for attribution, use the neutral alternative and do not show a founder signature or portrait.

Set the note in a readable editorial composition. Emphasize the concrete task phrase once, then carry that phrase or its associated object into the product scene. Introduce PRODUCT_NAME as the supplied interface appears. Demonstrate VERIFIED_ACTION with the available states and hold on EVIDENCE_RESULT.

Keep the founder context subordinate to the product explanation. Avoid a long biography, fake handwritten additions or decorative testimonials. Preserve any limitation required to interpret the action. End with CURRENT_STATUS and NEXT_ACTION. The emotional tone should come from the genuine problem and deliberate pacing, not from unsupported claims of transformation.

Make it your own

APPROVED_NOTE
Supply exact authorized wording and attribution status.
VERIFIED_ACTION
Choose the product task that answers the note's problem.
EVIDENCE_RESULT
Use an observable supplied state, not a business outcome.
PRODUCT_NAME
Use the approved name and identity assets for the product answering the note's problem.
CURRENT_STATUS and NEXT_ACTION
End with the actual access state and a supported next step, preserving any eligibility condition.

Choose an honest note

An illustrative neutral note might say, “The task was recorded, but the next owner was unclear.” It can lead to an assignment demonstration without pretending a founder said it.

If a real founder supplies a statement, preserve its intended meaning and approved attribution. Do not expand a short comment into a detailed personal history.

For this 30-second brief, limit the opening note to one approved sentence. A useful planning allocation is 0–6 seconds for the note, 6–23 seconds for the related product action and proof, and 23–30 seconds for scope and the next step. These are adjustable editorial limits, not a performance rule. If the supplied quotation is longer, obtain an approved excerpt rather than silently rewriting attributed words.

Adapt the note-to-interface transition

For a restrained tone, dissolve the note while retaining its task phrase beside the interface. For a more graphic treatment, let an abstract request card become the framing device for the supplied screen, with the illustration clearly distinguished from real UI.

If the viewer already knows the founder, shorten the introductory context. Familiarity is not a reason to omit product evidence.

Correct an overlong introduction

If the note consumes most of the runtime, remove biography and retain the sentence that explains the task. If the demonstration does not answer the note, choose another product action or revise the opening.

A portrait, signature or quotation mark can imply personal endorsement. Remove those devices when the wording is illustrative rather than genuinely attributed.

Review checklist

  • Attributed words and identity assets are approved.
  • The note leads to a directly related product action.
  • No fictional personal experience is presented as real.
  • The product result receives a readable hold.
