Who this is for: Product teams briefing an accurate and useful update explanation.
What to prepare
- The actual template and its permitted preview assets.
- Its intended task, required inputs and editable regions.
- Verified access conditions and instructions.
Copyable creative brief
An authored planning example. Replace illustrative details with your approved product facts and assets.
Create a 30-second planning announcement for a fictional planning tool adding a review-meeting template. Begin with the task, “Prepare a focused review meeting.” Show the actual supplied template labeled as a template preview. Highlight its agenda, decision log and action-owner sections one at a time. Identify the inputs the user must provide: the item under review, relevant evidence and participants. Replace one sample agenda entry with clearly labeled illustrative copy to demonstrate customization, using only the product's verified editing behavior. Do not imply the template fills itself, imports into another platform or guarantees a meeting outcome. End with the editable regions visible and the approved access instruction. Keep the distinction between the reusable structure and the user's required decisions clear.
Make it your own
- Template task
- Name the specific job the resource supports.
- Editable regions
- Identify actual sections users can change.
- Access instruction
- Match the real availability and retrieval process.
Inspect the resource before announcing it
Confirm that the template contains the sections promised in the opening. A promotional mockup is not proof of an available resource. Record any sample-only elements that users must replace before use.
Adapt for a storyboard or creative template
Highlight scene timing, copy slots and asset requirements rather than pretending a final video already exists. If the resource is a written planning template, call it that. Do not animate a nonexistent import button.
Repair finished-result framing
Replace “Your meeting is ready” with the specific preparation step completed. Show what still needs input or review. If the template's scope is narrow, name that scope rather than advertise it as suitable for every project.
Review checklist
- The actual resource delivers every highlighted section.
- Required user inputs are explicit.
- The preview distinguishes sample copy from finished work.
- Access and import behavior are not invented.
