Who this is for: Teams demonstrating actionable notifications.
What to prepare
- Notification screenshot
- Actual destination
- Action and result evidence
Copyable creative brief
An authored planning example. Replace illustrative details with your approved product facts and assets.
Plan a 30-second illustrative sequence for request R-047. The sample notification reads “R-047 needs your review.” Show its actor or source exactly as the supplied product does. Activate the actual notification link and arrive at the same request, with its identifier and Awaiting review status visible. Explain the required review action before performing it in the supplied state sequence. End on the confirmed resulting status. If opening the notification merely marks it read, distinguish that from completing the review. Use “Review the request” at arrival and a bounded result label after confirmation. Keep all names and request content fictional. Do not claim the alert guarantees that someone acts, and do not invent automatic approval or notification delivery behavior.
Make it your own
- Alert text
- Use exact wording and a stable sample object.
- Required action
- Name the decision or correction the alert requests.
- Resolved state
- Distinguish reading from task completion.
Trace the destination
Supply the exact alert text, target screen and resolution state. Check whether the link opens a list, a detail panel or a page. The storyboard should follow that actual route.
Adapt the action
For a reminder about a missing field, show that field and the saved correction. For an approval request, identify the authorized reviewer. Keep the alert concise but retain the information that explains urgency or scope when it matters.
Fix read-versus-done confusion
Do not use a cleared notification badge as proof that the underlying task is complete. If the film ends after navigation, close with “Request opened.” If the record remains pending, preserve that status rather than adding an unrelated success graphic.
Review checklist
- Alert and destination reference the same object.
- The required action is explicit.
- Read status is not mistaken for resolution.
