Who this is for: Teams explaining access-request workflows.
What to prepare
- Restricted and pending states
- Approval evidence
- Resulting-access evidence if claimed
Copyable creative brief
An authored planning example. Replace illustrative details with your approved product facts and assets.
Plan a 30-second illustrative access workflow for sample folder F-012. Begin as Example contributor with the product’s actual restricted-state message. Show the verified Request access action and the resulting pending request. Switch explicitly to Example reviewer or the actual authorized role. Open the same F-012 request and inspect the requested permission before making the demonstrated decision. Show the real approval confirmation. Return to the contributor view and verify the allowed action only if supplied evidence shows the permission has taken effect. Use “Request pending,” “Approval recorded” and “Access verified” only at their respective states. Do not imply a requester can approve their own access or that approval grants broader rights than the selected scope.
Make it your own
- Requested object
- Track one stable sample identifier.
- Permission
- Name the exact requested capability.
- Approver
- Use the verified authorized role.
Verify the requested scope
Supply the object, requested permission and approver rule. Folder viewing, editing and workspace membership are different scopes. Keep the selected right visible in the review scene.
Adapt the decision
For a denial tutorial, show the real reason or next step without inventing policy. For an introduction, focus on one approval and state the role prerequisite. Avoid mixing several requested objects.
Fix pending-access confusion
A pending badge is not a granted right. If no post-approval access evidence exists, end at the recorded decision and state that verification remains outside the example. Do not fabricate an unlocked screen.
Review checklist
- Roles are explicit at each handoff.
- The granted scope matches the request.
- Approval and effective access are distinguished.
