Weekly product update digest storyboard

This 30-second editorial structure gives one change the lead and lets smaller related notes support it. The fictional review-tool edition illustrates selection; it does not require every week to fill every slot.

Make it your own

Edition theme
Name the recurring task linking the items.
Lead story
Choose a change with enough evidence for a short demonstration.
Supporting note
Include a related item whose meaning survives concise treatment.

Choose the lead before arranging cards

The lead needs an action and proof, not simply the largest engineering effort. Leave unrelated cosmetic changes in the written notes. If an item requires a long exception list, give it a separate explanation.

Vary the edition honestly

Omit the supporting slot when there is no useful second item and spend that time on the lead's condition. A 60-second edition can add another relevant job, but each addition still needs its own evidence and scope.

Check the roundup promise

This is orientation to the week's changes, not a complete tutorial for each feature. Make that expectation clear in surrounding copy. Keep the destination specific enough that viewers can find the promised details.

Review checklist

  • The lead has a visible result.
  • Every supporting item fits the theme.
  • Different availability rules are preserved.
  • The ending points to the same release period.
