Who this is for: Motion producers writing precise creative and educational briefs.
What to prepare
- Exact sentence and approved emphasis word
- Font files and line-break map
- Target composition and final reading hold
Copyable creative brief
An authored planning example. Replace illustrative details with your approved product facts and assets.
Create a 15-second typographic study using EXACT_SENTENCE. Keep the approved wording, punctuation and LINE_BREAKS unchanged. Reserve the final text boxes before any reveal so that adding a word never recenters or reflows the existing text. Use FONT_ASSET and the supplied palette; if a glyph is missing, flag it instead of replacing the character. Establish the complete sentence in a readable composition. During the middle beat, emphasize EMPHASIS_WORD with one restrained treatment, such as an underline or a small movement within its reserved bounds. Keep all qualifiers visible, particularly words such as “can,” “may” or eligibility conditions. Do not remove neighboring words, add a stronger claim or enlarge the active word beyond its allotted space. Return the active word to the common baseline and hold the complete sentence still for FINAL_HOLD. Essential meaning must survive muted playback. Deliver a storyboard describing the static layout, emphasis interval and final state, plus any conflict between the proposed emphasis and the sentence's intended meaning. Treat sample copy as illustrative rather than evidence of a result.
Make it your own
- EXACT_SENTENCE
- Paste approved copy, including punctuation and limiting words.
- LINE_BREAKS
- State each final line explicitly for this aspect ratio.
- EMPHASIS_WORD
- Select one word and explain the intended interpretation.
- FINAL_HOLD
- Reserve enough still time to read the complete sentence in the target view.
- FONT_ASSET
- Identify the exact approved font file and weight; confirm coverage for every character in the sentence.
Fill a meaningful example
An illustrative fill is “We can make complex ideas clearer,” with “clearer” emphasized and “can” retained beside it. Use two approved lines rather than letting each arriving word change the wrap. The treatment should draw attention to the desired improvement without turning it into a guarantee.
Adapt the emphasis
For long copy, emphasize a short phrase only if its words form one semantic unit. For a narrow layout, approve another break map before production. If the brand prefers little movement, keep the sentence still and use a static weight or underline change inside the existing composition.
Correct the common failures
If the sentence jumps, reserve the whole block's final geometry. If the active word covers a qualifier, reduce its excursion or switch to an underline. If reviewers infer a stronger promise than intended, change the chosen word or reduce its visual dominance; a longer final hold cannot undo a misleading peak frame.
Review checklist
- Line breaks never change during the emphasis.
- Limiting words remain readable at the strongest frame.
- Only the approved word receives active emphasis.
- The final sentence rests on the approved baseline.
