24-second reduced-motion presentation storyboard

Rebuild a spatial explanation as stable views while preserving the same information. This plan replaces a sweeping route camera with a fixed overview and labeled detail.

What to prepare

  • Original storyboard and message inventory
  • Complete overview and approved detail views
  • List of information previously carried by movement

Copyable creative brief

An authored planning example. Replace illustrative details with your approved product facts and assets.

Use Collect, Compare and Decide as an illustrative conceptual route. Remove decorative camera travel and retain the order through labels and highlights. Compare information between versions, and review the hosting page's playback and motion-preference behavior separately from this media treatment.

Scene-by-scene storyboard

24-second planning sequence · illustrative copy and visual direction

  1. 01

    0–5s

    Orient in a stable view

Show the whole route with no camera movement.

    On screen:Collect → Compare → Decide • conceptual route

  2. 02

    5–11s

    Highlight the first detail

Keep the overview fixed and emphasize Collect with a restrained outline.

    On screen:Collect: gather the material.

  3. 03

    11–17s

    Show a second stable view

Introduce a labeled Compare detail beside the persistent overview with a direct change.

On screen:Detail of Compare: inspect the gathered material.

  4. 04

    17–24s

    Recap the whole diagram

Hold the complete fixed route with all three stage meanings readable: Collect gathers material, Compare inspects it and Decide selects a direction from the comparison. Retain the conceptual-route label and avoid new movement.

On screen:Decide: choose a direction from the comparison.

OVERVIEW
Supply a stable orientation diagram.
DETAIL_VIEWS
Name necessary details and their locations in the whole.

Map every removed move

Record original movement, communication purpose, replacement and remaining gap. A camera zoom may reveal a detail; the replacement needs a labeled detail view. A decorative drift may be removed entirely. Do not erase a connection merely because its original reveal depended on movement.

Retiming to a supported control

Twenty-four seconds is a planning duration. For a 30-second Animro plan, use 0–6, 6–13, 13–20 and 20–30 seconds. Add still inspection time. Avoid replacing one long sweep with rapid alternating cuts or a background that continues drifting behind the stable diagram.

Review equivalence and delivery

Check all three stage meanings, order, relationships and qualifications against the original. The final hold must explain Decide as well as naming it; an equivalence statement alone does not replace the audience-facing conclusion. W3C's interaction-motion guidance concerns disabling nonessential motion triggered by interaction; this exported alternative alone does not establish that a website honors user preferences. Plan the player experience and a useful still reference as separate delivery items.

Review checklist

  • Every informative move has an equivalent cue.
  • Stable detail views preserve whole-scene orientation.
  • The same conclusion and qualifications remain.
  • Delivery behavior is reviewed separately from the media variant.
