Who this is for: Motion producers planning timed educational and brand studies.
What to prepare
- Approved term and plain-language definition
- One checked example and one useful contrast
- Typography assets and optional simple diagram
Copyable creative brief
An authored planning example. Replace illustrative details with your approved product facts and assets.
Use one term throughout this timed lesson. Keep its definition exact, make the example explicitly illustrative where appropriate and end with a meaningful boundary. Do not introduce a second unexplained term to define the first. The supplied sample teaches a design convention, not a universal rule for every project.

Make it your own
- TERM
- Choose one term the audience needs for this lesson.
- DEFINITION
- Supply an approved concise meaning.
- EXAMPLE and BOUNDARY
- Provide a concrete instance and a limit that prevents a likely misunderstanding.
Choose a useful boundary
The sample's boundary prevents viewers from treating hierarchy as permission to hide supporting information. For another term, ask what mistaken conclusion a reader might draw from the example. Use an approved contrast that corrects that misunderstanding rather than a generic closing slogan.
Retiming the lesson
Twenty seconds is a planning duration. For a 30-second Animro plan, use 0–5 for the term, 5–12 for the definition, 12–22 for the example and 22–30 for the boundary. Add time to inspect the example and read the distinction. A 15-second version needs shorter approved wording and a simpler example, not faster unreadable captions.
Review definition and example together
Have a subject reviewer confirm that the example actually illustrates the definition. If the contrast contradicts the term, rewrite it before production. Inspect the final frame as a reference: it should retain the term, its meaning and the limit. A decorative icon alone does not teach the boundary.
Review checklist
- The definition uses language the audience already knows.
- The example matches the approved meaning.
- The boundary addresses a specific likely misunderstanding.
- All four timed scenes total 20 seconds.
